At the airport/ on the plane (a l’aeroport/ a l’avió)

Passenger: Good morning. (Passatger: Bon dia.) 
Check-in Attendant: Good morning, sir? How can I help you? (Assistenta de facturació: Bon dia senyor, puc ajudar-lo?)
P: Yes, you can. I’m flying to London – Heathrow. (P: si, tinc un vol per a Londres.) 
C: May I see your passport, please? (A: Puc veure el teu passaport, si us plau?) 
P: Sure. Here you are. (P: Si, aquí el tens.) 
C: May I see your ticket? (A: Puc veure el teu tiquet?) 
P: Oh, of course. Here it is. (P: Es clar, aquí esta.) 
C: Did you pack your luggage yourself? (A: Vas empacar el teu equipatge?) 
P: Yes, I did. Yes, I pack my luggage myself. (P: Si, el vaig empacar jo mateix.) 
C: Good. The fly is 30 minutes later, I’m afraid. (A: Bé el vol es retarda 30 minuts.) 
P: Oh, dear. Is there any problem? (P: Déu meu, hi ha algun problema?) 
C: Yes, it’s the bad weather. But everything is ok now. (A: Si, és per el mal temps, però ara esta tot bé.) 
P: Good. (P: Bé) 
C: Would you like a window or aisle seat? (A: Li agradaria un seient a la finestra o al passadís?) 
P: An aisle seat, please. (P: Al passadís, si us plau.) 
C: No problem. Here you have your documents again. Have a pleasant flight. (A: Cap problema, aquí tens els teus documents de nou. Que tinguis un agradable vol.) 
P: Thank you. Goodbye. (P: Gracies, adéu.)

At the hotel ( A l’hotel)

-  I’d like to book a room for two nights, please.  (Voldria reservar una habitació per dues nits, si us plau.)

- Is breakfast included in the price?  (L’esmorzar esta enclòs en el preu?)

- ‘Do you have a reservation, sir?’ ‘Yes, I do. My name is Brian Kessler.’  (‘Té una reserva, senyor?’ ‘Sí, el meu nom és Brian Kessler’)

-  Would you like a single room or a double room?  (Voldries una habitació individual o una de doble?)

- The TV doesn’t work. I must call the reception desk.  (La televisió no funciona. He de trucar a recepció.)

- How can I get to the hotel from the railway station?  (Com puc arribar a l'hotel des de l'estació de tren?)

- Are there any rooms with a view of the sea?  (Hi ha habitacions amb vistes al mar?)

- I’d like to ask for a wake-up call at 7 a.m.  (M'agradaria demanar un toc d'atenció a les 7:00.)

- This is a five-star hotel, that’s why it is so expensive. (Aquest és un hotel de cinc estrelles, és per això que és tan car.)

- You can have breakfast in our hotel restaurant.  (Pot prendre l'esmorzar al restaurant de l'hotel.)

- B&B (bed and breakfast) is a small hotel or private house where you pay for a room to sleep in for the night and a meal in the morning.  (B & B (llit i esmorzar) és un petit hotel o casa particular on vostè paga per una habitació per dormir a la nit i un esmorzar.)

-  We are staying at Plaza Hotel.  (Estem allotjats a l’Hotel Plaza.)

- Sorry, we have no free rooms. We are fully booked.  (Em sap greu, no tenim habitacions lliures. L’Hotel esta ple.)
